Biacton contains Lactobacillus farciminis and the product is authorised for use in the EU in chickens for fattening, turkeys for fattening and laying hens.

Product storage stability
It is recommended to keep the product in a dry place at temperatures between 4 and 20°C. Shelf life is one year.

Heat stability
The manufacturer claims no activity is lost when feed supplemented with the product is exposed to 80°C for 20 minutes or 95°C for 2 minutes.

The EU states: "For users of the additive and premixtures, feed business operators shall establish operational procedures and organisational measures to address potential risks resulting from their use.
