Product storage stability
The product must be stored in packaging that protects against light, moisture, and oxygen. Product stability was tested at three different temperatures: 4°C, 25°C, and 40°C. Increasing temperatures decreased bacterial activity. The product could be stored for 24 months at 4°C without loss of activity, for 12 months at 25 °C, and for only two months at 40°C.
Storage stability in feed premix
The product was added to milk replacers and one complementary feed and stored for three months at 20°C. No significant losses were observed after three months.
Heat stability
The product is primarily intended for use in milk replacers. Provita LE's stability in reconstituted milk replacers was tested for four hours at 37°C and 55°C. Viability was unaffected after four hours at both temperatures.
