Product storage stability
Data support a shelf life of at least 12 months when stored at 20°C or 30°C in commercial unsealed bags.
Storage stability in feed premix
Product stability, when added to premixtures, was confirmed after a storage time of four months. When added to commercial bovine feed, a loss of 0.5 log counts was observed after three months of storage at ambient temperatures (18 - 24°C)
Heat stability
Pelleting temperatures at 60°C and 70°C did not decrease viability; however, at 80°C, one log value was lost.
Carrier
Yeast
Handling
It is recommended to use respiratory protection during handling
