Avemix® XG 10 contains both beta-xylanase and beta-glucanase activity. The product is authorised for use in the EU in piglets and pigs for fattening. It is also authorised for use in chickens for fattening and other avian species.

Avemix® XG 10 is available both in dry and liquid forms.

Derived from micro-organism Xylanase derived from Trichoderma reesei (MUCL 49755) and beta-glucanase derived from Trichoderma reesei (MUCL 49754)
Product storage stability When stored at 25°C, no loss of enzymatic was observed after six months. After 13 months, the enzymatic activity was reduced to 89% beta-glucanase and 81% xylanase.
Storage stability in feed and premix The xylanase and glucanase activities were 107 and 83 % when the feed was stored for three months at 25°C. When added to a premix, the xylanase and glucanase activities were 110 and 99 %, respectively, when the premix was stored at 25°C for three months.
Heat stability One batch of AveMix XG 10 was tested in a pelleting trial. At a pelleting temperature of 75°C, the activity of xylanase was 79 %, and the activity of glucanase was 84 %.
