Finase® EC contains 6-phytase. The product is according to the manufacturer a second generation phytase.The product is authorised for use in the EU in piglets, pigs for fattening and sows. 

Finase® EC is available in both dry and liquid forms.

Derived from micro-organism Trichoderma reseei (CBS 122001)
Product storage stability Storage stability was tested in five different batches at two different temperatures. At 25°C and 32-37°C, respectively, 95 and 78 % of the initial activity was recovered after one year.
Storage stability in feed Finase® EC was mixed into final at the recommended dosage. After four months storage at room temperature the rate of recovery was above 87 %.
Heat stability When pelleting at 60 to 65°C there was no loss of activity. At 70°C the loss of activity was 18 %. Higher pelleting temperatures produced substantially higher losses of activity.

Handling The formation of aerosol and dust of the product should be avoided. Inhalation of enzyme aerosol or dust may cause sensitization and may cause allergic type reactions.
