Bonvital
Bonvital contains Enterococcus faecium and is authorised in the EU for use in piglets, pigs for fattening, sows, chickens for fattening, chickens reared for laying and minor poultry species other than those used for laying. The product is available both as a powder and as a microencapsulated additive.

Product storage stability | Storage stability of the product in its original packaging was tested at 4°C, 20°C and 37°C. The test showed that the product is stable for 12 months when stored at 4°C or 20°C. At 37°C it is stable for 6 months. |
Storage stability in feed and premix | Both the powder and granulate form of the product was added to mineral/vitamin premix and stored for six months at 20°C under dry conditions. After six months there was no significant loss of viability. The product was added either as the powder or the granulate form to piglet feed and stored for four months at 20°C. The results support that both product forms are stable in feed when stored for four months. |
Heat stability | The granulated form of the product was added to feed for piglets and pelleted at 70-72°C. After pelleting, 85% of the initial activity was recovered |
