Product storage stability | No loss of viability was observed after 12 months of storage at 20°C or storage for six months at 37°C |
Storage stability in feed and premix | No loss of viability was observed after six months of storage of premixes supplemented with the additive. The premixes were stored at 20°C. Likewise, complete mash and complete pelleted feed were supplemented with the additive and stored for three months at 20°C. No loss of viability was observed in the complete feed. |
Heat stability | Heat stability was tested at three different temperatures: 60, 70 and 80°C. After pelleting the feed was analysed and the subsequent viability was close to 90% or higher |
Homogeneity | The distribution of the additive when added to a final feed was tested. Analyses of ten sub-samples showed a coefficient of variation of 11% |
