Product storage stability (neXo 100 G)
The shelf life of Huvezym® neXo 100 G was tested using three batches stored in paper bags with a polyethylene lining. The tests were conducted at two different temperatures: 25°C for up to 24 months and 40°C for up to 6 months. Here's what the study found:
-
At 25°C, after 24 months, the enzyme activities decreased slightly:
- Xylanase activity decreased by an average of 9.3%.
- Glucanase activity decreased by an average of 9.6%.
- Xyloglucanase activity decreased by an average of 9.5%.
-
At 40°C, after 6 months, the enzyme activities showed a more noticeable decrease:
- Xylanase activity decreased by an average of 19.4%.
- Glucanase activity decreased by an average of 26.2%.
- Xyloglucanase activity decreased by an average of 25.4%.

- Post-Pelleting Storage at 40°C: After 3 weeks, the additional enzyme activity loss was approximately 11-12%.
-
Complete Mash Feed for Pigs:
- Storage Conditions: Similar storage conditions were applied.
- Results at 25°C: After 3 months, the enzyme activity loss was about 5-6%.

Homogeneity
A study was conducted to assess how evenly Huvezym® neXo 100 G distributes in mash feed for both poultry and pigs. The researchers analyzed 10 subsamples from three batches for each type of feed. Here's what they found:
-
For Poultry:
- The coefficient of variation for xylanase ranged between 10.4% and 12%.
- For glucanase, it ranged between 9.6% and 10%.
- For xyloglucanase, it ranged between 8.9% and 10.7%.
-
For Pigs:
- The coefficient of variation for xylanase ranged between 9% and 10.3%.
- For glucanase, it ranged between 9.2% and 10.1%.
- For xyloglucanase, it ranged between 9% and 11.4%.
These coefficients of variation indicate the degree of homogeneity in the distribution of the enzymes within the mash feed for both poultry and pigs. Lower percentages suggest a more uniform distribution.
